The Mystery Shopper programme is designed to provide impartial information about the customer experience in Weston Hospicecare shops. This helps us to identify good practice and replicate it within shops, and to identify training needs and improvements. The role of the Mystery Shopper is to visit Weston Hospicecare shops as a customer or donor and to
provide feedback of your experiences to the Retail Director.

Main Tasks:
 To visit two selected Weston Hospicecare shops each month. The locations will be agreed
with the Retail Director. The shops you visit, and the days of the week on which you visit
them, will vary from month to month.
 To pose as a customer or donor, and whilst doing so assess customer care you receive and
evaluate your customer experience. You will work to a set list of review criteria, which may
include, for example: whether you receive a warm greeting, are you asked about gift aid
when donating items, is the shop clean, is the shop well stocked.
 After the shop visit, to complete the simple A4 mystery shopping form and return to the
Retail Director.
 To attend training to support your work as a Volunteer Mystery Shopper.
