There are 2 positions, ideally each for 1 morning per week. We need to cover Wednesday am and Friday am. We also would like for you to be available to, on occasion, assist with Hydrotherapy; which takes place once a month in Frome.

Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do here are Dorothy House. This is a great opportunity to join an established and welcoming team, working closely with our patients. We are looking for 2 volunteers to work one morning per week in the newly refurbished Gym, supporting our Physiotherapists as required, in our main building at Winsley.

We also would like for you to be available to, on occasion, assist with Hydrotherapy; which takes place once a month in Frome.

Experience not required as full training will be provided.

Organisation Description

We provide compassionate care and support for people in our community with a life-limiting illness. Dorothy House focuses on quality of life, so patients can live well and die well.
We give care and support to patients and their families in Bath and north east Somerset and parts of Wiltshire and Somerset, whenever they need it; at home, in the hospice, or at one of our outreach centres. We respect the uniqueness of each patient and their family, and empower them to choose the type of care they receive.
