Description

This is a great opportunity for you if you have an interest in IT and would enjoy helping someone learn some basic computer skills.
We are looking for IT Tutors across Somerset, but particularly in the Taunton area. We offer one hour weekly sessions to help people in their own homes to use PC, laptops, tablets and mobile phones. The role is to teach basic computer skills.
For the people we help this can open up a whole world to them and enable them to keep in touch with family/friends so they don't feel so isolated.
We would be looking for Tutors to start over the next couple of months as the service relaunches.
We provide loan equipment Laptops, ipads,tablets, keyboards and rollerball mice if required while teaching.

Organisation Description

Our organisation provides much needed, free one-to-one IT training to housebound and/or older people throughout Somerset. The adults we support are not able to benefit from public IT training courses - due to disability, caring responsibilities for others, or difficulties in traveling. Being able to get online can make a huge difference, helping people who are stuck at home to access vital services online and feel less isolated and alone.
